Talk Talk is this telecommunications company in the UK. More and more advertisers have passed on the power to the consumer by letting them help advertising by greating their own ads, this is what Talk talk has done, but instead of the usual run of the mill make your own videos, they created this site where you can make light grafitti, using your phone, mouse, webcam with any light source! The even have music so you can create your own light dances!

The Trilogy begins...

A wise film professor once said that three is the magic number! Everything you do must be in three's. So i think it is most fitting to start this off with a three part blog:

Discovery Number One: Today, my officemates and i were craving for Pancake House for Brunch, since they couldn't deliver we decided to head out there for lunch. As we were about to head out, we started talking about Trilogy's boutique and canteen, next thing we know we're off to Rada instead.

(Here's the menu)
(thanks to Trilogy's multiply site for the images: www.trilogyboutique.multiply.com)

I had the beer battered fish with french fries and tartar sauce, and a very tall glass of iced tea! Anna had the pasta chamba, while Bernice had the spaghetti with meatballs, then we all shared the trailer park monte cristo + deep fried peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for desert! It was all so good, i wiped off my fish with some of Anna's pasta sauce, we brought back some desert for our studio manager!

i love the selection of the boutique, it felt like being back in New York, where i first fell in love with Urban Outfitters. I instantly fell in love with their unique book selection, a yellow dress and these lovely boots! i don't think i could pull them off here in Manila though, maybe when i hit the east coast!

Discovery Number two for the day: MangoRED.

No, i didn't make a mistake and reverse Red Mango (the new froyo brand) but say hello to Ryan and Randall Dagooc, two of the best and most amazing (in my opinion) wedding photographers in town! Pause. Rewind. Erase. Not just in town, but slowly dominating the world! Just in the past year alone, their unique style has captured the most memorable moments in a couple's life from the Philippines, to Spain, to New York, to Bali, and all the way to India! WOW! Words can not express how amazing they are! I am so in awe! i spent all afternoon checking out their site and their past work! So everyone, check them out!

Here's my last discovery for today, read up and enjoy. Here's for all you creatives out there who were told they couldn't live on their art!

Thirty years ago the economy was based on raw materials and industry. Parents disapproved of creative careers, all professions had strict uniforms and your sex and class defined you.

In 2008 we are entering a creative economy where designers, photographers and film-makers can earn more than doctors and lawyers; jeans have replaced the suit and tie, and you are more likely to be defined by your music than your age

You are the creative generation: you value creativity above most other things, and you have changed the way the world goes round. You do things your way but contribute directly to economic expansion; you represent the most significant growth area in an international workforce and control over half the world’s disposable income; your combined global output will imminently outstrip the financial markets. You are the future.
